Longtime friends and collaborators Brad Mehldau and Chris Thile come together for a virtuosic live performance of Mehldau’s 2025 album Ride into the Sun. The acclaimed album is a songbook inspired by the late songwriter Elliott Smith. Composer and jazz pianist Mehldau and GRAMMY® Award-winning and MacArthur Fellow mandolinist Chris Thile will be joined by musicians from the USC strings program.
